So...we can't meet you at Max's because the unthinkable has happened. Richie Kaplan (and Harvey if he were still with us) has sold the building Max's on Main is housed in, and is moving into the sunset of his retirement dreams. Richie has always been a supportive friend to A Little Beacon Blog, so we wrote an Ode To Richie article. With a swelling heart that almost cried a few times but cauaght itself. Cheers to you, Richie. Raising a glass of cider to you, that ALBB will only have with you. On the same day as Max's On Main's last day last Sunday,  a circumstance developed a few blocks away that resulted in an arrest of a man by Beacon Police who demonstrated Use of Force techniques, which prompted their own self-evaluation on the spot.
