Eligible state funded food benefits are matched dollar for dollar, making the farmers’ market more accessible to a wider base of consumers. The program has been completely community funded through contributions made by local businesses as well as the annual SOUP4GREENS event. The SOUP4GREENS fundraiser will feature an assortment of soups, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, catering to diverse palates and dietary preferences. Customers will have the opportunity to savor hot soup on-site or opt for frozen pints or quarts to enjoy in the comfort of their homes. Patrons will also have the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic bowls generously donated by Hudson Valley artists.
