Happy Second Saturday, people of Beacon! Celebrate June’s school’s-out spirit with artwork that will appeal to the young, and the young at heart. We’ve got it all covered in our Art Gallery Guide.

Two galleries - Dia:Beacon and the Howland Public Library - are showcasing work made by Beacon schoolkids, while others - Clutter Magazine, RiverWinds, Marion Royael, and Mother Gallery - feature whimsy from the grownups. (Clutter actually has three superfun shows opening!) New shows also at Bannerman Island Gallery (to benefit the Hudson Highlands’ favorite castle!), BAU Gallery, Catalyst Gallery, Hudson Beach Glass, No. 3 Reading Room and Photo Book Works, and the Howland Cultural Center. Stop by to welcome Beacon’s newest gallery, Parts & Labor Beacon - right on 9D, near Giannetta Salon. There’s so much art to see!
