Table Registrations are filling up for the 2023 Spirit of Beacon Day! Which is on Sunday, September 24th. Has your organization signed up? This year, food vendors from Beacon are able to register, if we don't fill up from local restaurants and grocery stores wanting to come out to offer a table. See here for details. Don't delay! Spirit Beacon is taking reservations for food vendors, After School Clubs, organizations, and churches. Fun events this weekend including Carter's Country Night and the Beacon to Newburgh Swim where you can get a hot dog from the Beacon Boi's hot dog stand, and the Number Seven Sandwich Hub Food Truck (think mozz sticks, steak sandwiches and their own made ginger beer)! Riverpool Swim Volunteer Kayak Meet Up Day: Saturday, August 5, 2023 (Rain Date: Sunday, August 6, 2023) Time: 9:30am-12:30pm (9:30am is the end of the registration time, but you can get there as early as 8am) Location: Long Dock Park, Red Flynn Dr · Beacon, NY A very cool fundraiser for the Riverpool swimming pool in Beacon. It's a fun day and a great cause. Swimmers swim from Newburgh to Beacon and kayakers accompany for safety. The river is closed to regular traffic so everyone is safe. Bring a snack, hat, sunglasses, suntan lotion, camera, change of shirt/shoes for dining afterwards. Boat pump, PFD with whistle, extra ropes mandatory.
